How Determinator Targets work:

Formula-based, progressively spaced “Staggered Ring” design
We’ve done the complicated differential mathematics required to determine the progressive spacing of the concentric, staggered rings on a Determinator Target. This patented system allows you to shoot at 100 yards and identify your effective range. And, shooting five shots minimizes any margin for error. Once you’ve shot the five rounds you simply identify the smallest ring that encompasses all five shots and then read the number on that ring which will be between 100 yards (largest ring), and 600 yards (smallest ring). That is your effective range!

Multiple aim points for guns sighted high
You’ll notice a series of three additional bullseyes located directly below the bullseye at the center of a Determinator target. These “Stacked” aim points are for rifles that are sighted in at 2”, 3” or 4” high at 100 yards allowing you to use these targets no matter how your gun is sighted in. A residual benefit of the multiple aim points is that they help train you to focus on a specific spot as opposed to an area.

Determinator Targets provide a fair and accurate “No Bull” assessment of your true effective range, something that previously has been relatively difficult to accurately determine and, therefore, subject to testosterone-based embellishment. Just because one is able to hit their target once at a long range doesn’t mean that they can consistently make a one-shot humane kill at that range, which is the definition of “effective range” and the goal of Determinator Targets. Half the battle in any skill based effort is confidence.
